Very functional slates, made and priced to be used by students or given as gifts. The Same workmanship and quality as our 'professional slates', but we only offer these in chalkboard. The sticks are 3/4" thick with stripes on the front only and no magnets. Hi-impact plastic brackets (rather than the metal on the pro slates). BUT, they will last really well under normal set conditions.

This is the industry standard for a long-lasting, hard working slate.
The acrylic is rounded on all edges so it won't cut your hands. The 1" thick sticks are painted in wrap-around B&W stripes. The bracket is tension-adjustable. There are magnets in the tips of the sticks to ensure a definate close. The board is screened with solvent-resistant ink - the printing will last. Uses a dry-erase marker.
Yellow is less likely to 'blow out' with a hot exposure, making this a favorite of some.
We also see it used as "B" or "C" camera slate - easy for the editor to identify quickly.
