Featuring topics ranging from pitching and story conceptualization to budgeting and tax incentives, this professional development program is designed to give independent filmmakers a working knowledge of the latest industry tools and information that can save them time and money as well as avoid costly mistakes during production.These Seminars were held September 19th in Orlando, Florida and September 21st in Miami, Florida.

STEVE BIZENOV has more than 20 years experience in the software industry with a strong background in entertainment production and operations management, payroll and accounting. He is vice president of sales and software development at Media Services. He worked in production and operations management at EUE Screen Gems and served in executive positions at various entertainment accounting, payroll, and software companies including FilmPro & Bon Bon Entertainment.
CHRIS HUNTLEY is an Academy Award-winning software developer and the co-creator of the Movie Magic series of software products. He also co-developed the Dramatica theory of story over a 14-year period. His mastery and wisdom of all things relating to story have made him a widely recognized leader in the world of story development.
JOE MAIELLA is a visual communications professional with more than 30 years experience in leadership, management, production, operations, and sales for a variety of companies including CrewStar, Convergent Media, The New England, and Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He is vice president of sales at Media Services and is widely recognized for his expertise in corporate and interactive visual communications and training. He currently heads the Massachusetts Production Coalition, which represents 100+ companies doing business with moviemakers in the state.
